How much does pool maintenance cost?
Regular pool maintenance costs from €180/month on the Essential contract (one visit every two weeks) and from €280/month on the Premium contract (one visit per week). These are entry figures, not fixed prices: the monthly figure depends above all on the pool's volume, and most contracts sit above the entry figure. Both include chemicals, travel, water analyses and labour — no extras. The on-site technical diagnosis costs €45, deducted from your first month.
Two pools on the same visit frequency can land at very different figures: an Essential contract, with a visit every two weeks, runs from €180/month on a small pool to €280/month or more on a large one — on water volume alone. That is why we do not quote a fixed price from a distance. The €45 diagnosis exists precisely to give you your number, in writing, before you sign.

Technical diagnosis — €45
Before we propose a contract, we come to your pool. The visit takes about an hour and covers a full water analysis, an equipment inspection and a written report with the exact monthly figure for your pool.
The €45 is deducted from your first month of contract. If you go ahead with us, the diagnosis ends up costing nothing.

Always included
On both contracts the monthly price is fixed. No travel charges, and no bill for chemicals at the end of the month.

Quoted separately
These jobs sit outside the monthly price because they depend on the condition and equipment of each pool. They are always quoted before any work starts.

The left-hand figures are ordinary market estimates, not an invoice. What the contract adds is predictability: a fixed figure, with no emergency recovery and no breakdown to pay in one go.
What moves the price
The figures above are starting points. These four factors determine the final price of your contract.
Pool volume
The heaviest factor by far. An 80 m³ pool uses more product and more treatment time than a 30 m³ one.
Type of treatment
Chlorine, salt electrolysis and active oxygen differ in both product cost and protocol.
Surroundings
Pine trees, sea spray, well water or nearby vineyards all add work per visit.
Distance from our base
We work out of Baixa da Banheira. Travel is included, but the furthest areas may have fixed visit slots.
