Terms and Conditions

1. Identification

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of services provided by ManutencaoPiscinas, a brand of BTJT, Lda, a pool maintenance services company.

2. Scope of Services

ManutencaoPiscinas offers the following services:

• Pool Cleaning
• Water Treatment
• Pump and Equipment Maintenance
• Equipment Repair
• Season Opening
• Pool Winterization
• Problem Diagnosis

Services are provided in the Margem Sul of Lisbon region, covering over 85 locations.

3. Quotes

• Quotes are without obligation
• Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue
• Prices shown include VAT at the current legal rate, unless otherwise indicated
• Additional work not included in the initial quote will be communicated and agreed upon before execution

4. Scheduling and Execution

• Service scheduling is subject to availability
• The customer will be contacted to confirm the date and time
• If the service cannot be performed on the scheduled date, a new date will be proposed
• The customer must ensure access to the location and adequate conditions for service execution

5. Payment

• Payment is due upon completion of the service, unless otherwise agreed
• Accepted payment methods: Bank transfer, MBWay, cash
• For larger services, an advance payment may be requested
• In case of late payment, we reserve the right to apply interest at the legal rate

6. Warranty

• All our services include a satisfaction guarantee
• The warranty period varies according to the type of service provided
• The warranty covers execution defects, not covering damage caused by misuse or natural wear
• Claims must be communicated within 8 days of service completion

7. Cancellations

• The customer may cancel the scheduled service with at least 24 hours notice without any charge
• Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a travel fee
• ManutencaoPiscinas reserves the right to cancel or reschedule services due to force majeure

8. Liability

• ManutencaoPiscinas is responsible for damage caused during service execution, provided it is demonstrably attributable to our team
• We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or damage resulting from normal wear
• The customer must inform us of any special conditions or fragilities of the location before the service begins

9. Data Protection

Personal data collected is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Portuguese law. For dispute resolution, the courts of Setubal shall have jurisdiction, to the exclusion of any other.

ManutencaoPiscinas reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes take effect after publication on this page.
